Our history dates back to 1579, making us one of the first notarial firms in the region. In those days, notaries performed their duties alone, in succession, one after another. They had different functions, as notarial activity as we know it today has naturally evolved over the centuries. The monopoly in real estate, for example, was only established in 1955 with the Decree on real estate advertisements.
Deep historic anchorage…
In 1899, Maître Baptistin Ardisson, notary and Mayor of Antibes, acquired a plot of land in the spot where the town's ancient ramparts had collapsed. It was on this plot of land that he erected the building which still plays host to our offices today. Renowned notaries such as La Corne, Guigou and Le Naour followed in succession. In the 1970's, a major transition occurred when Maître Daniel Reine created the notarial firm of which we are now the holders.

Our office has been located at 5 Place du Général de Gaulle in Antibes since 1901, the date when the building created by our predecessor was completed. We are based here, at the very heart of town, which reinforces our local anchorage. On the strength of this, and benefitting from national jurisdiction, we function both locally and throughout the rest of France.

Our notarial firm is now comprised of 9 notaries including 4 partners and about 40 collaborators shared out in different services (general and production services). Working together, we assist our clients at each stage in their lives, offering personalized advice. In fact, our real added value lies in our capacity to provide guidance and to be there for them beyond the "mandatory visit". We can help in all the important moments in their lives, and what distinguishes us, above all, is our human dimension.
